Settings

Olive Garden tips automatically use 3% — Louisiana state tax only, because the federal “No Tax on Tips” law makes most tip income free of federal income tax through 2028 (Social Security & Medicare are already taken out of your paycheck). Babysitting, cleaning, and Instacart are self-employment, so they use the percentage above to cover self-employment tax plus Louisiana’s 3%. Tithes are always 10% of every dollar. These are planning estimates, not final tax calculations.
